Dragonfly Ranch Hosts 35th Anniversary/Retirement Party/
Open House on December 6
by Russell Phelps
Dragonfly Ranch: HEALING ARTS CENTER, an award-winning Bed and Breakfast/eco-spa in Honaunau, is celebrating its 35th anniversary at an OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, December 6th.
“After 65 revolutions around the sun I have decided it is time to turn over my creation to wonderful new stewards,” says “soul” proprietor, Barbara Moore. As she retires, she is looking for a unique way to search the world for the best new owners for her “green” paradisiacal sanctuary. Moore plans to make Dec. 6th the opening of a world-wide writing contest to find these ideal owners.
Moore started crafting her place on the Big Island’s Kona Coast in 1974 when she got a 55 year lease agreement for two beautiful acres of land with huge monkeypod trees. This meadow land at the perfect 700 foot elevation is blessed with sunny weather and light breezes. Green and lush without too much rain, it is ideally located two miles above the ancient “Place of Sanctuary,” Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. Known for world-class pristine snorkeling and diving, this sacred bay features turtles, coral, colorful fish and friendly spinner dolphins.
In 1980, on The Journey of Transformation in Egypt, Moore got guidance to operate her place as a healing retreat center–“where Aloha abounds.” She opened her home and heart to guests from around the world. Approved as a five bedroom B&B, the Dragonfly Ranch was voted #1 Bed and Breakfast in West Hawaii by readers of the local daily newspaper.
Last year this peaceful retreat received the prestigious nomination for National Geographic Traveler Magazine’s “most authentic places to stay.”
This unique “upscale treehouse” with luxuriously rustic suites has housed over ten thousand guests over the years. “Happy campers” have returned again and again, including famous writers, artists, movie stars, musicians, singers and healers. It has also been the chosen site of concerts, symposiums, retreats, workshops, family reunions, weddings and romantic honeymoons.
The legendary Dragonfly Ranch featuring “Serene Play and Healthy Pleasures” has an international reputation as a safe haven of “old Hawaii where time is slow and easy”–for individuals, couples and groups seeking beauty, relaxation, rejuvenation, peace, creativity, spiritual awareness, authenticity and FUN.
Much of the “healing magic” of the Dragonfly Ranch is due to Moore’s soulful touches such as the colorful labyrinth in her “Illuminarium.” For that reason, Moore is offering new owners not only her legacy of a successful business but also her consulting services if desired.
While she would like to see her beloved “expansion mansion” and organic garden continue being a place of magical healing, Moore says, “I am not requiring that the new owners continue operating a B&B/eco-spa. I welcome individuals as well as organizations to contact me about owning this blessed place.”
The grand finale of the December 6th gala celebration will be the announcement of the winner of the “How Many Dragonflies at The Dragonfly Ranch” Contest. Whoever guesses the closest to the number of visible dragonfly images will win a free week-long stay worth up to $2000 in indoor/outdoor Dragonfly lodging.

New Study Reveals Major Health Problems Linked to Genetically Engineered Foods
“We demand the systematic publication of the results of these tests, which we could only obtain on a case by case basis by taking legal action… It [the study] brings to light a significant underestimation of the initial signs of diseases like cancer and diseases of the hormonal, immune, nervous and reproductive systems, among others… The health crises may be more important than the international financial crisis because of the lack of transparency of the regulators.”
Source: An alarming study published in the Journal of Biological Science this week points toward serious health hazards from genetically engineered foods and pesticides. The research, conducted by scientists from France, Italy, New Zealand, U.K. and U.S., corroborates the decade-long criticism by public interest organizations such as the Organic Consumers Association, Greenpeace, and Friends of the Earth that European Food Safety bureaucrats and the U.S. FDA have used unreliable tests to assess the safety of food and products containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs). GMOs are now found in more than 80% of (non-organic) foods sold in conventional grocery stores in the U.S., as well as the majority of animal feed in the EU.
Alert of the Week
Support the OCA’s National Organic Standards Board Endorsements
This year, Secretary Vilsack will make the Obama Administration’s first appointments to the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB), a non-governmental advisory and supervisory board comprised of representatives of the organic community who make formal recommendations on organic standards and allowed ingredients in organic production to the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).
Several important topics are now under deliberation by the NOSB and the NOP, including:
-Blatant violations of national organic standards in the organic dairy sector, where leading brands (including Horizon and Aurora) continue to unfairly undercut ethical brands by utilizing cheaper, but inhumane and less nutritious, intensive confinement feedlots where cows have limited or no access to required pasture.
-Misbranding in the personal care products sector where increasing numbers of products that are laced with synthetic chemicals and not certified as organic are nonetheless being labeled or advertised as “organic”.
-Standards for organic aquaculture (fish farms) that pose environmental and food safety concerns
-The continuing controversy over which minor ingredients may be synthetic or sourced in non-organic form.
The appointment of strong organic advocates to the NOSB will help to safeguard organic integrity, allow the organic movement to speak with one voice, and reassure consumers that “USDA Organic” is the “gold standard” for nutrition, safety, humane treatment of animals and environmental sustainability.

Alert Update of the Week
Tell Whole Foods and UNFI: Organic Means Respecting Workers’ Rights
In recent weeks, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) has urged the world’s largest organic and “natural” retailer and wholesaler, Whole Foods Market and United Natural Foods, Inc. respectively, to prioritize certified organic food and products, support farmers and manufacturers’ transition to organic production, and to stop advertising or promoting so-called “natural” products (greenwashed conventional products) as if they were “almost as good as”or”almost organic.”
Since our founding in 1998, OCA has fought to integrate organic and Fair Trade principles, to protect the rights of workers, both in the U.S. and abroad, throughout the natural and organic supply chain, from farm workers and food processing workers, to truck drivers, warehouse packers and retail clerks in grocery stores, coffee houses, and restaurants. OCA believes that Fair Trade, health, and sustainability are the inseparable components of an organic food and farming system and a green economy. This is why the OCA and our allies are challenging industry leaders, Whole Foods and UNFI, as well as the entire organic and green community, to implement a domestic Organic and Fair Trade code of conduct that assures workers’ rights are respected.
Take action today and send the Whole Foods and UNFI’s CEOs a message that organic means supporting workers’ rights!

Survey of the Week
Consumers Think ‘Natural’ is Greener Than ‘Organic’
A new Shelton Group survey of U.S. consumers shows 31 percent of respondents believe ’100 percent natural’ is the most desirable eco-friendly product label claim, compared to 14 percent who chose ’100 percent organic’. According to Shelton, “Many consumers do not understand green terminology. They prefer the word ‘natural’ over the term ‘organic,’ thinking organic is more of an unregulated marketing buzzword that means the product is more expensive. In reality, the opposite is true: ‘Natural’ is the unregulated word. Organic foods must meet government standards to be certified as such.”
The survey suggests why bottom line companies like Horizon, Silk, and Peace Cereal are ditching organic ingredients, while UNFI and Whole Foods Market are failing to educate consumers and project a clear preference for certified organic goods. Instead UNFI, WFM, and others are giving prominent shelf space to so-called ‘natural’ product-lines which are cheaper and more profitable to produce and sell than “organic,” although so-called “natural” products are routinely contaminated with GMOs and synthetic chemicals, and derived from industrial agriculture and food processing practices that are polluting the environment, undermining biodiversity, destabilizing the climate, and exploiting farmers and workers.

The Debate Over ‘Natural’ vs. Organic:
Where Do You Stand On This Issue?
Letter from one of our readers: “I have relied on the Organic Consumers Association to be a significant force for alternatives to an industrial food system. You have had a significant impact on helping all of us interested in choices in the food marketplace. I really take issue with the stance that certified organic is the only legitimate alternative to an industrial/global/impersonal food system. The movement which is connecting more and more consumers to think about where their food comes from, how it is produced and who profits from their food expenditures has grown rapidly as a “big tent” movement. I acknowledge that some abuse of the “natural” label occurs, but I do not believe we who are interested in alternatives to the industrial/global/impersonal food system benefit from a position which asserts that the only alternative acceptable is “certified organic.”

The Almond Butter of Genius
It was here in Berkeley that Steve Wozniak went to school. He attended the University of California where he studied electrical engineering. He had the good sense to drop out in 1975 and, with Steve Jobs, founded Apple Computer, Inc., a two-man operation. Just as Mozart channeled musical scores, writing them down in a final version without revising, editing or correcting, so too, Steve channeled the circuitry for the first PC. He was the conduit for a revolutionary invention that has changed every aspect of our lives. This is the spirit of Berkeley: 20 Nobel Prize winners have taught here.

Subject: Tell Your Senators: Monsanto can’t feed the world
In a promising move, the G8 — a group of the world’s eight wealthiest nations — has just announced a shift away from providing direct food aid to developing countries and towards helping farmers abroad produce and distribute their own food.
That’s a laudable goal. But the Obama administration along with members of the U.S. Congress are using this singular moment to move their own agenda: propping up U.S. biotechnology companies like Monsanto. They hope to accomplish this by promoting genetically modified seeds and chemical inputs as tools to fight hunger, despite research that shows that genetically modified organisms (GMOs) have little impact on crop yield and do not fare well in drought-prone regions that need the most help.
I just took action and signed a petition asking my senators to oppose the Casey-Lugar bill that would push GMOs on the world. I hope you will, too.
Please have a look and take action.

Paranoid Authorities Wouldn’t Let My Plane Fly Over U.S. Territory — Was It Something I Wrote?
By Hernando Calvo Ospina , Progreso-Weekly. Posted May 4, 2009.
An AirFrance flight was forced to divert a plane thousands of miles because a journalist was considered a national security threat.
Air France Flight 438, from Paris, was to land at Mexico City at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Five hours before landing, the captain’s voice announced that U.S. authorities had prohibited the plane from flying over U.S. territory. The explanation: among the passengers aboard was a person who was not welcome in the United States for reasons of national security.
A few minutes later, the same voice told the startled passengers that the plane was heading for Fort-de-France, Martinique, because the detour the plan needed to take to reach its destination was too long and the fuel was insufficient.
The stopover in that French territory in the Caribbean would be only to refuel the plane. Exhaustion was becoming an issue among the passengers. But the central question, spoken in undertones, was the identity of the “terrorist” passenger, because if the “gringos” say it, “it must be because he must be a terrorist.”
Looking at those of us sitting in the back of the plane, two passengers said no terrorist could be there because “nobody there looks like a Muslim.”
Again in the air, and preparing for another four hours of travel, a man who identified himself as the copilot came to me. Trying to look discreet, he asked if I was “Mr. Calvo Ospina.” I told him yes.
“The captain wants to sleep, that’s why I came here,” he said, and he invited me to accompany him to the back of the plane. There, he told me that I was the person “responsible” for the detour. I was astonished.
My first reaction was to ask him: “Do you think I’m a terrorist?” He said no, that’s the reason I’m telling you this. He also assured me that it was strange that this was the first time it happened on an Air France plane. Shortly before we landed in Martinique, a stewardess had told me that, in her 11-year career, nothing like that had ever happened to her.
Finally, the copilot asked me not to tell anybody, including the rest of the crew. I assured him that I hadn’t the slightest intention of doing so.
I returned to my seat. Perhaps through nervousness, I began to notice that the members of the crew walked by me more frequently, looking at me with curiosity.
After landing, before the plane even reached the airport building, a woman’s voice asked for “Mr. Calvo Ospina” to meet with a member of the crew as soon as the plane stopped. I did so. The young man picked up a phone and called someone. After hanging up, he told me I was no longer needed and could debark. He told me he knew about my problem and wished me luck.
In an instant, on two pieces of paper I ripped from a newspaper, I wrote the telephone number of my home and gave them to two passengers with whom I had chatted, telling them I was “the problem guy.” They assured me they would phone my home, but didn’t — or they couldn’t read my numbers.
A few yards from the plane, at the entrance to the terminal, we were awaited by several civilians who asked for our documents. My throat was drying up, due to nerves. I submitted my passport and was allowed to enter. While I waited on line at the immigration desk, I saw several men looking for someone. They stood behind a glass partition, a few steps away from the immigration agents but at a higher level.
The line moved slowly. I was moving, without any choice, to where I felt the worst might happen. But what could I do? The scandal of a man designated as “a terrorist” by the United States could not gain me any supporters. I had to go on. Nothing weighed on my conscience; nothing weighs still.
Then I saw that the three or four men behind the glass partition had identified me. They looked at a computer screen and then at me. I feigned indifference. The man who looked like (and was) the leader, went down to the main floor to talk to the immigration agents. He pretended not to assume that I was “the culprit” but clearly he thought so. And the immigration agents looked into my eyes, unable to conceal that they knew I was the man they were waiting for.
My turn came. I greeted the man politely and he responded in like manner. He looked at the computer, wrote something and told me to wait a minute, said he needed to “verify” something in my passport. He asked me to follow him. I did. He led me to a room next to the glass-enclosed one. A uniformed agent was sitting next to the door, writing something. As soon as I put down my two valises, I told him I needed to go to the bathroom. He pointed me in its direction. I walked through two large semi dark rooms; I saw two people sleeping on the floor, on mats. The bathroom lights didn’t work. I urinated without worrying if I hit the toilet seat or not. I couldn’t see a thing.
I returned and sat down. I fumbled for a book, displaying tranquility, but my throat remained dry. A few minutes later, the same man who watched me from the glass enclosure returned and politely asked me to follow him. We walked into the glass-enclosed room, he sat behind a desk and asked me to sit in one of two chairs. As I did, I noticed that a man was standing behind me, to my left. A woman checked a computer and documents, paying no attention to us.
The first thing the man told me was that I shouldn’t worry, that they only wanted to verify a few things. He said that “five information sources” in data bases had shown some information about me. He said they “simply” needed to make a “summary.” He showed me a package that contained about 200 sheets of paper, stapled together in five booklets.
I calmed down, forgot about my dry throat and told him: “Ask whatever you want. I have nothing to hide.” He repeated that it was a simple, brief matter and that I could leave later. Knowing the police, I had my doubts.
I asked him if those many sheets of paper said that I was guilty of something. The man who was standing answered that I was there at the request of U.S. authorities. He said I should know that, after Sept. 11, 2001, the Americans had stepped up their “cooperation” work.
Then I asked them: “So, am I to blame for the plane’s rerouting?” They said no, they understood it had been a mere technical stopover. I told them they knew it wasn’t so, that the plane’s captain had told everyone that the stopover was due to a passenger. They smiled, looked at each other, and resumed the questions. They asked me for my name, date of birth, residence, etc. Nothing special, nothing that wasn’t already in my documents. The seated officer kept repeating that I could leave without any problem in a few minutes. The standing officer posed the more “remarkable” questions.
“Are you a Catholic?” he asked. I answered no, but I am not a Muslim either, knowing how “dangerous” this religious belief has become to certain policemen.
“Do you know how to handle firearms?” I told him that the only time I held one I was very young; it was a shotgun and I was knocked down by the recoil. I never even went through military service, I said. In fact, I added, “my only weapon is my writing, especially to denounce the American government, whom I consider terrorist.”
They looked at each other, and the seated man said something I already knew: “That weapon sometimes is worse than rifles and bombs.”
They asked me why I was traveling to Nicaragua the following day, and I explained that I had to write a story for Le Monde Diplomatique. They asked me for my personal address, as well as the home phone and cell phone numbers, which I gave them without hesitation. They asked me if I had children. A girl and a boy, I answered. The standing man, who by then had sat down next to me, said calmly: “How nice that you have a boy-and-girl couple. That’s nice.” He sounded almost sincere.
That was basically the interrogation, which seemed more like a chat. The notes made by the seated man did not fill a page. The notes made by the other man did not fill a notepad page. It seemed to me that the latter worked for a more specialized intelligence agency. At no time did either official speak aggressively or threateningly. They were very courteous and proper.
Finally, they returned my identification papers after photocopying them. And we parted with a handshake. It was almost 2 a.m., Sunday, April 19, 2009. At 10:30 a.m. I boarded a plane for Managua without any difficulty. But I still think that it was a dream bordering on a nightmare. I still don’t believe that I was “guilty of detouring an Air France 747 because of the ‘fears’ of U.S. authorities.”
How much did it all cost? Only Air France knows. It had to pay for hotel rooms and food for at least half the passengers, who missed their connections. I witnessed the other passengers’ exhaustion, especially the children, some of whom began to vomit, fearing that among them was a “terrorist.” I also saw the tranquility of the crew members in my presence. Later I learned that all of them were aware of the situation, but it didn’t seem to me that they believed I was guilty of a crime.
How far will the U.S. authorities’ paranoia go? And why do Air France and the French authorities continue to keep silent about it all?

Mikhail Gorbachev calls for new American revolution
Posted By Stephen C. Webster
June 9, 2009
Mikhail Gorbachev, the Soviet Union’s last communist general secretary, called for a new American “revolution” — also calling it a “perestroika,” or government restructuring — in an editorial http://www.smh.com.au/opinion/its-time-for-a-second-american-revolution-in-the-spirit-of-perestroika-20090609-c25z.html?page=-1> published Wednesday in The Sydney Morning Herald .
“Some have reacted with understanding. Others have objected, sometimes sarcastically, suggesting that I want the United States to experience upheaval, just like the former Soviet Union. In my country, particularly caustic reactions have come from the opponents of perestroika, people with short memories and a deficit of conscience,” the former Soviet leader wrote.
He continued: “Our perestroika signalled the need for change in the Soviet Union, but it was not meant to suggest a capitulation to the US model. Today, the need for a more far-reaching perestroika – one for America and the world – has become clearer than ever.”
In Russia, Gorbachev’s “ perestroika <http://mars.wnec.edu/~grempel/courses/wc2/lectures/gorrev.html> ” was a government restructuring and the introduction of limited market economy freedoms into the Communist model, which initially caused a great deal of social unrest before eventually becoming an integral part of society.
Gorbachev called for something similar in November, when he declared then-U.S. President-elect Barack Obama “a man of our times” and suggested his administration would need to bring about an American “perestroika.”
“[He] is capable of restarting dialogue, all the more since the circumstances will allow him to get out of a dead-end situation,” Gorbachev said, according to Russian news service RIA Novosti http://en.rian.ru/russia/20081107/118196981.html> . “Barack Obama has not had a very long career, but it is hard to find faults, and he has led an election campaign winning over the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton herself. We can judge from this that this person is capable of engaging in dialogue and understanding current realities.”
The Russian Communist, in his concluding paragraphs, strikes a surprising balance between capitalistic freedom and government controls.
“[If] all the proposed solutions and action now come down to a mere rebranding of the old system, we are bound to see another, perhaps even greater upheaval down the road,” he wrote. “The current model does not need adjusting; it needs replacing. I have no ready-made prescriptions. But I am convinced that a new model will emerge, one that will emphasise public needs and public good, such as a cleaner environment, well-functioning infrastructure and public transport, sound education and health systems and affordable housing.”
He continued: “The time has come to strike the right balance between the government and the market, for integrating social and environmental factors and demilitarising the economy.”
Finally, Gorbachev warns that the world’s current economic model, created by “America’s elite,” is “cracking.” As it comes undone, many will suffer, he predicted. “Including the United States.”
Gorbachev concludes: “However different the problems that the Soviet Union confronted during our perestroika and the challenges now facing the United States, the need for new thinking makes these two eras similar. In our time, we faced up to the main tasks of putting an end to the division of the world, winding down the nuclear arms race and defusing conflicts. We will cope with the new global challenges as well, but only if everyone understands the need for real, cardinal change – for a global perestroika.”Uncategorized | Tags: Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, Perestroika, RIA Novosti, Russia, Soviet Union, United States | Comment (0)
I thank Richard Diehl for keeping up on these important bits of news:
“Avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible… Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food… There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation…The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”
Silk Soymilk Packaging Scam
“I was very involved in the creation of Silk Organic Soymilk when it was first designed and manufactured. Steve Demos was very committed to Silk being Non-GMO, Organic and Vegan. Suddenly, when buying Silk at Whole Foods, I discovered that none of the Silk flavors in half gallon containers were certified organic. The cartons look exactly the same as before with the exception/removal of the USDA Organic Seal and the word “organic” before soybeans in the nutritional panel. This is a very sneaky way for a manufacturer to discontinue Non-GMO Organic soybeans in the manufacture of their product. I also wonder why Whole Foods continues to sell this product without a warning sign.”Uncategorized | Tags: Environmental medicine, Genetic engineering, Genetically modified food, Richard Diehl, Soybean, United States, US, Whole Foods | Comment (0)

President Kennedy arrives at Homestead AFB, Florida, 1962.
According to claims in a rare video, George Adamski met with President Kennedy at the White House in late 1961 and passed on a letter to him from human looking extraterrestrials. In addition to giving advice on the Cuban missile crisis, the alleged letter also contained an invitation for Kennedy to meet with the extraterrestrials. If Kennedy did attend such a meeting, it may explain why he was certain about human looking extraterrestrial life; made undisclosed trips to Air Force bases to deal with the UFO issue; and why he instructed NASA to cooperate with the USSR on joint space and lunar missions, and to release classified UFO files.
Lou Zinstag, Carl Jung’s niece describes what she was told by Adamski concerning Kennedy’s alleged meeting with extraterrestrials:
I still remember his [Adamski’s] White House story. He told me that he had been entrusted with a written invitation for President Kennedy to visit one of the space people’s huge mother ships at a secret airbase in Desert Hot Springs, California, for few days. In order to keep this visit absolutely secret, Adamski was to take the invitation directly to the White House through a side door. Still glowing with excitement and smiling happily, he explained how the row of cars in which his taxi was traveling had to stop because of a red light just in front of this particular door where a man he knew – a spaceman, he said – was standing ready to let him in. Adamski later learned that Kennedy had spent several hours at the airbase after having canceled an important trip to New York, and that he had a long talk with the ships crew, but that he had not been invited for a flight.”
The quality of witness testimonies, photos and film evidence presented in the rare video (see part one of this investigative series), all lead to the conclusion that George Adamski was largely telling the truth about his flying saucer sightings and contacts with human looking extraterrestrials. There is however no direct physical evidence that Kennedy met with the extraterrestrials Adamski was in contact with. There is, however, circumstantial evidence that such a meeting did happen, and it influenced Kennedy’s policies on space cooperation and UFOs.
The first set of circumstantial evidence concerns Kennedy’s certain knowledge of UFOs and human looking extraterrestrials. A former flight steward and loadmaster on Air Force One, Bill Holden, confirmed that Kennedy was aware of UFOs and human looking extraterrestrials. In a June 2007 interview, Holden explained that in June 1963, while flying to Germany on Air Force One, he placed two newspapers before Kennedy where UFOs were clearly pictured on the front page. In response to Kennedy’s question of what he thought of UFOs, Holden said: “For us to believe that we are the only intelligent beings in the world is unbelievable. So, yes, I believe that there is such a thing as other human species as well as UFOs.” In response President Kennedy said: “You’re right, young man.” The unqualified nature of Kennedy’s response revealed his knowledge that both UFOs and human looking extraterrestrials were real. This is circumstantial evidence that Kennedy was either briefed or did meet with human looking extraterrestrials as Adamski claimed.
A second set of circumstantial evidence concerns a leaked document that claims that Kennedy knew, while serving in the U.S. Congress, about UFO crashes and the recovery of alien bodies. As a former Naval Intelligence officer, Kennedy was deemed reliable to receive such highly classified information. While the authenticity of the document in question, “Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit Summary,” is disputed, the U.S. Army did finally acknowledge through FOIA responses that the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit did at one time exist and was abolished in the late1950s. The helps support the legitimacy of the leaked document. Furthermore, the claim that Kennedy had knowledge of UFO crash retrieval operations is supported by British UFO researcher Timothy Good. In his book Need to Know (2007), Good cites a reliable military source that Kennedy was taken to see the alien bodies from Roswell. Good wrote:
Around 1961/1962 President J.F. Kennedy expressed a wish to see the alien bodies associated with an alien crash-site. He had obviously been informed of their existence and wished to see for himself the evidence…. According to information received, the alien bodes were taken to Florida when Kenned went to see them [at] a medical facility.” [pp. 420-21]
If the leaked document and/or the military whistleblower are accurate, then President Kennedy was aware of the reality of extraterrestrial life and technology. If Kennedy was so interested in seeing dead alien bodies during the early part of his administration, then it is very plausible that he would have accepted an invitation to meet with live extraterrestrials as Adamski claimed.
The third set of circumstantial evidence concerns President Kennedy secretly traveling to an undisclosed Air Force base to watch UFOs. A reliable source, according to UFO researcher Timothy Cooper, said that Kennedy “did fly out to an air force base to personally watch an unidentified bogie track from an aircraft under tight security which got no press coverage sometime in 1962.” If Kennedy did travel to a secret airbase in California to meet with live extraterrestrials, then the incident described by Cooper offered at least one opportunity for such a meeting to take place. Kennedy’s alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, would have made him the second U.S. President to meet extraterrestrial ambassadors in the California desert. The first allegedly occurred on February 20, 1954 with President Eisenhower at Edwards Air Force base.
So far, the circumstantial evidence reveals that President Kennedy had been briefed about UFOs and extraterrestrial life earlier in his political career. Also, Kennedy knew that some extraterrestrials looked similar to humans. Finally, Kennedy secretly traveled to one or more undisclosed Air Force bases to view UFOs in action in 1962. The circumstantial evidence considered so far, does make plausible Adamski’s claim that Kennedy secretly traveled to California to meet with extraterrestrials sometime in 1961/1962. More circumstantial evidence for such a meeting is found in Kennedy’s initiative to get the USSR and USA to cooperate in joint space and lunar missions, and to release classified UFO files.
